Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to executionCreate design concepts, layouts, 3D visuals, and material selectionsCoordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teamsSupervise junior designers and ensure quality standardsHandle client meetings, approvals, and design presentationsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per drawingsConduct site visits and resolve design or execution issues

Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgets.Create mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts.Develop detailed design plans, including layouts, materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.Use software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce floor plans and 3D renderings.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project execution.Source and recommend furniture, fixtures, and dcor items.Oversee project timelines and budgets from concept to completion.Ensure designs comply with health and safety regulations and building codes.Stay current with industry trends and new materials/products.

Safely operate a tempo van or light commercial vehicle for deliveries and pickups.Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete deliveries on time.Maintain delivery logs, invoices, and related documentation accurately.Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues.Follow traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.

Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.Install cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, partitions, and decorative trims.Build frameworks for structures including walls, floors, and doorframes.Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.Ensure work meets safety codes and quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred.Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 15 years depending on seniority).Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.Good physical condition and stamina.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
