Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.

Install cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, partitions, and decorative trims.

Build frameworks for structures including walls, floors, and doorframes.

Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Operate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.

Ensure work meets safety codes and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is preferred.

Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 15 years depending on seniority).

Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.

Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Good physical condition and stamina.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
