The Opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Project Manager to oversee thecomplete lifecycle of our complex projects. In this role, you will be the central point ofcontact, responsible for ensuring that our electrical panel, switchgear, and automationprojects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality andsafety. You will bridge the gap between engineering, production, procurement, and theclient, turning technical specifications into successful, operational systems.Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Project Management: Lead projects from the order phase throughdesign, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, shipment, and sitecommissioning.Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical and projectpoint of contact for clients, managing communications, setting expectations, andensuring total customer satisfaction.Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.Monitor progress against milestones and proactively manage changes in projectscope.Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering teams to review designdrawings (SLDs, wiring diagrams, panel layouts), control philosophies, andautomation software specifications.Supply Chain & Procurement: Coordinate with the procurement team to sourcecomponents (breakers, PLCs, HMIs, relays) and manage vendor relationships,ensuring timely delivery of materials.Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to quality controlprocedures, industry standards (UL, IEC, ANSI), and company safety protocolsthroughout the project lifecycle.Financial Management: Track project costs, identify variances, and implementcorrective actions to maintain profitability. Prepare and present regular projectstatus reports to management.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effectivemitigation strategies to minimize impact on schedule, cost, and performance.Site Coordination: Liaise with site managers and contractors to facilitate smoothequipment installation, startup, and commissioning.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relatedfield. (PMI/PMP certification is a strong plus).3+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically within theelectrical panels, switchgear, and/or industrial automation industry.Technical Must-Haves:Solid understanding of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchgear,motor control centers (MCCs), and custom control panels.Familiarity with industrial automation components (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs)and their integration into electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, andtechnical specifications.Project Management Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in projectmanagement methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, orsimilar).Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communicationskills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical teams andnon-technical clients.Strong Leadership & Problem-Solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetwith the ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex issues underpressure.
