CNC Lathe programmer cum Operator

New Product Development Support:Collaborate with engineers to develop CNC programs for new product prototypes.Provide input on manufacturability and process optimization during design reviews.Programming and Setup Activities:Write, test, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations.Select appropriate cutting tools, materials, and workholding fixtures.Generate toolpaths using CAD/CAM software.Conduct test runs and simulations to verify program accuracy.SMED Implementation:Analyze setup procedures to identify opportunities for reducing changeover time.Implement SMED techniques to streamline tool changes and setup processes.Optimize CNC programs to accommodate quick changeovers without sacrificing quality.Process Optimization and Cycle Time Reduction:Analyze machining processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.Modify CNC programs and machining parameters to optimize cycle times.Implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve productivity.Production Monitoring and Quality Assurance:Monitor machining processes to ensure parts meet quality standards.Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to resolve errors and optimize efficiency.Conduct regular quality inspections to identify and address deviations from specifications.Documentation and Collaboration:Document CNC programs, setup instructions, and machining parameters for future reference.Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and optimize manufacturing processes.Continuous Improvement and Maintenance:Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.Assist with routine maintenance tasks to ensure CNC equipment remains in optimal condition.
