Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance checks to ensure proper operation, diagnosing issues that arise during operations, and implementing repairs efficiently. A key responsibility is to follow safety protocols while working on cranes to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed, which helps in tracking the history and performance of each crane.Candidates should have a solid understanding of crane systems and mechanical parts. You must be a hands-on problem solver, capable of diagnosing complex issues quickly. Good communication skills are necessary for discussing repair needs and updates with team members. Additionally, you should be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, as it often involves lifting heavy parts and working at heights. A solid understanding of safety regulations in the mechanical field is also essential.
