Certification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation From BHADANIS QS Institute or Nicmar or RICS shall be given preference**Key Responsibilities:**- **Cost Estimation**: Analyze project blueprints and specifications to estimate the total cost of materials, labor, and other expenses required for construction projects.- **Bid Preparation**: Develop comprehensive bids that include quantities, costs, and timelines for the construction work, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.- **Material Sourcing**: Research and identify suppliers for materials, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices to keep project costs within budget.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project scope and accurately estimate costs while considering any design changes.- **Documentation**: Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and contracts, ensuring that all information is readily accessible and up-to-date for review and reference.- **Market Research**: Stay informed about market trends, materials costs, and construction techniques to provide the most accurate estimates.**Required Skills and Expectations:**- A degree in Architecture or Engineering is required.- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.- Willingness to learn and grow in the field, especially for candidates with 0-6 years of experience.
