Certification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation From BHADANIS QS Institute or Nicmar or RICS shall be given preferenceKey Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation: Analyze project blueprints and specifications to estimate the total cost of materials, labor, and other expenses required for construction projects.- Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive bids that include quantities, costs, and timelines for the construction work, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.- Material Sourcing: Research and identify suppliers for materials, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices to keep project costs within budget.- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project scope and accurately estimate costs while considering any design changes.- Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and contracts, ensuring that all information is readily accessible and up-to-date for review and reference.- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, materials costs, and construction techniques to provide the most accurate estimates.Required Skills and Expectations:- A degree in Architecture or Engineering is required.- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.- Willingness to learn and grow in the field, especially for candidates with 0-6 years of experience.

Through Experience and Knowledge on Transmission & Distribution/ Railways EPC civil works and tendering.Costing experience in civil related works of EHV Transmission Lines, Substations & Distribution(SCADA, UG Cable) Project works / Railways. Knowledge on Civil Engineering / Design of T&D , Railways. Quantity surveying and preparing bill of quantities for civil related works. Site Visit & Prepare site investigation report. Study and understand the site survey report and BOQ. Presenting the site Survey Report & Reviewing with customer for Customization. Effectively working in handing the QS working. Support in costing evaluation during finalization of agencies for execution of civil works Evaluate risks associated with each project during the pre-bid phase and help in formulating risk mitigation strategyAssist in preparing technical and commercial bids. Evaluation of Civil execution agencies and have the updated data bank of agencies . Verify accuracy and completeness of bid documents . Ensure adherence to the bid schedule .Maintain updated costing data bank of the total civil BOQ of T&D and Railways. Prepare and submit Performance Bank Guarantee. Submit duly filled tender submission & order
