Ground Operations Staff ensure smooth, safe, and efficient airport & aircraft functions, handling both passenger services (check-in, boarding, assistance for special needs, baggage claims, ticketing) and aircraft support (marshalling, fueling, cleaning, loading catering/cargo, security checks, ground power connection) for on-time turnarounds, working in shifts to cover all operational aspects from arrival to departure. Key ResponsibilitiesPassenger Services:Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, allocate seats, verify documents.Assist passengers with disabilities, elderly, or families with young children.Handle lost, delayed, or damaged baggage complaints.Provide flight information, confirm reservations, sell tickets.Manage boarding process, gate announcements, and document checks.Ramp & Aircraft Handling:Guide aircraft to/from parking stands (marshalling) using hand signals/lights.Connect ground power/air conditioning to parked aircraft.Supervise loading/unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail.Load catering supplies, water, and duty-free items.Refuel aircraft.Perform internal cleaning and external washing of the aircraft.Conduct security checks before departure.Coordination & Admin:Communicate with pilots, flight crews, and air traffic control.Monitor flight status, manage delays, and re-route passengers.Complete necessary documentation, including flight plans and load sheets. Aircraft load plannerCalculates the aircraft's load and weight, plans the cargo loading, and reports any issues with the load. Load control supervisorDistributes the aircraft's loads according to safety regulations, gravity parameters, and other restrictions. They also calculate the aircraft's weight and balance, and prepare loading instructions. Baggage handlerEnsures that luggage and other items are properly loaded and unloaded from the aircraft. They must be able to lift heavy items and work quickly and efficiently. Ramp agentResponsible for under-wing services for aircraft, including guiding and parking aircraft, loading and unloading luggage and cargo, and performing cabin maintenance tasks. Airline ramp service agentAssists with take-off by marshaling an aircraft. They also load and unload baggage including any freight or oversized baggage. LoadmasterConducts safety briefings for passengers and ensures they know the safety features on board the aircraft. Assist the Project Coordinator / Medical Officer during routine Mobile OPD / health camps or in time of emergency.2. Keep stocks of medicines, syringes etc.3. Visit with the MMU to the camp sites as per the visit roster.4. Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.5. Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration.6. Provide assistance in other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.7. Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.8. Complie with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures.9.
