Design for Manufacturability- Design components considering CNC milling, turning, drilling, tapping, grinding, and other machining processes.- Apply practical knowledge of tolerances, limits & fits, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up.- Understand the practical use of plug gauges, ring gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, verniers, etc.- Coordinate with CNC programmers, machinists, production, and inspection teams to resolve manufacturability issues. Prototyping & Production Support- Support prototype development, testing, assembly, and production.- Analyze manufacturing and assembly issues and implement effective design improvements.- Focus on improving machine performance, accuracy, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
