QA Strategy & PlanningDevelop & implement Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for GIS substations, E&M & electrical systems.Oversee ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) for transformers, switchgear, SCADA, cabling, earthing.Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, Metro Rail QA guidelines & contract specs.2. Vendor & Material QualityReview QA docs, FAT reports & OEM certifications.Conduct/witness Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) for GIS, switchgear, transformers & protection systems.3. Site QA/QC OversightEnsure installation quality for GIS, substations, cabling, SCADA & E&M systems.Conduct inspections for OHE & power supply interfaces.Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) & ensure timely closure.4. Documentation & ComplianceMaintain QA/QC records, calibration logs & inspection docs.Submit weekly/monthly QA compliance reports.Ensure QA record traceability for audits & handover.5. Leadership & CoordinationLead Systems QA/QC team & coordinate with design, execution & client reps.Provide technical guidance & training to project staff.Drive a zero-defect, quality-first culture across stakeholders.
