🔹 We’re Hiring: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager – Systems 🔹

📍 Location: Mumbai (Full-time, Project Site)

🚇 Project: Metro Rail – 66kV & above GIS Substations, Power Supply & E&M Systems

⏳ Engagement: Full-time, until completion of the Design-Build Period

✅ Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Graduate in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years total work experience

OR

Diploma in Quality Assurance with 15+ years total work experience

Relevant Experience (Similar Works):

Graduate Engineers: 6+ years in QA of 66kV+ GIS-based substations in Metro Rail / Railway / Power Infra projects

Diploma Holders: 8+ years in QA of similar works

🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. QA Strategy & Planning

Develop & implement Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for GIS substations, E&M & electrical systems.

Oversee ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) for transformers, switchgear, SCADA, cabling, earthing.

Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, IS, Metro Rail QA guidelines & contract specs.

2. Vendor & Material Quality

Review QA docs, FAT reports & OEM certifications.

Conduct/witness Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) for GIS, switchgear, transformers & protection systems.

3. Site QA/QC Oversight

Ensure installation quality for GIS, substations, cabling, SCADA & E&M systems.

Conduct inspections for OHE & power supply interfaces.

Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) & ensure timely closure.

4. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain QA/QC records, calibration logs & inspection docs.

Submit weekly/monthly QA compliance reports.

Ensure QA record traceability for audits & handover.

5. Leadership & Coordination

Lead Systems QA/QC team & coordinate with design, execution & client reps.

Provide technical guidance & training to project staff.

Drive a zero-defect, quality-first culture across stakeholders.

🔑 Skills & Competencies

✅ Strong QA/QC expertise in HV substations (66kV+, GIS preferred)

✅ Metro/Railway QA frameworks & safety standards knowledge

✅ Proficiency in FAT, SAT & QA reporting

✅ Strong leadership, documentation & client-handling skills

✅ Ability to manage QA in fast-paced design-build environments
