Key ResponsibilitiesIn-Process & Final Inspection: Perform daily dimensional and functional inspections of parts, components, and finished assemblies on the production line using specialized measuring instruments.Incoming Material Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials and bought-out components against standard vendor checklists and Purchase Order (PO) specifications.Defect Documentation & NCRs: Document line rejections, maintain physical segregation of non-conforming products, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to prevent defective material from moving to the next stage.Instrument Calibration Tracking: Check, verify, and maintain the calibration logbooks for all shop-floor measuring gauges and testing equipment to ensure continuous data accuracy. Problem-Solving Support: Assist senior engineers in investigating recurring defects using basic 7 QC Tools (such as Pareto Charts, Fishbone Diagrams, and 5-Why analysis).QMS Record Maintenance: Update and compile daily quality logs, line rejection percentages, and First Time Right (FTR) reports in compliance with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 system guidelines.
