The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and is committed to maintaining high-quality standards within our processes and products.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Develop and Implement Quality Plans:** Create detailed plans to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations throughout the manufacturing process.- **Conduct Inspections and Tests:** Perform regular inspections and testing of products at various stages to identify defects or issues that need addressing.- **Document Quality Findings:** Maintain accurate records of quality tests and inspections, ensuring all findings are well-documented for future reference and continuous improvement.- **Identify Areas for Improvement:** Analyze data from inspections to pinpoint areas where quality can be enhanced, working closely with the production team to implement changes.- **Collaborate with Engineering Teams:** Work alongside design and engineering teams to suggest design modifications that can improve product quality and reliability.**Required Skills and Expectations:**The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills to assess quality issues and provide solutions. Prepare the plant for external customer and certification audits.Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Lead investigations into product defects or customer complaints. Utilize problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone diagrams) to implement permanent Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).New Product Introduction (NPI): Coordinate the quality planning for new product launches by preparing and executing Core Tools documentation, including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA): Audit vendor facilities, evaluate incoming raw material quality, and issue Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) when materials fail to meet engineering specifications.Process Capability Monitoring: Analyze production floor data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) to identify trends, reduce variance, and prevent defects before they happen.Continuous Improvement: Work alongside the Production and Design teams to drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives, waste reduction, and process optimization.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn-Process & Final Inspection: Establish and monitor inspection protocols for incoming raw materials, in-process production lines, and final pre-dispatch items using precise measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead investigations into internal non-conformances and external customer complaints. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using quality tools like 8D, 5-Why Analysis, and Fishbone diagrams.Process Documentation: Maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) documentation, including Quality Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).Statistical Process Control (SPC): Collect and analyze production data using statistical methods to monitor machine capabilities, identify process variations, and implement continuous improvements.Audit Compliance: Conduct regular internal quality audits and prepare the production facility for external compliance and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).Vendor Quality Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate supplier performance, conduct vendor audits, and resolve component quality issues.
