As a Mechanical Engineer at TATA STEEL in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and equipment. Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance. Purchase materials, plan inventory, and also oversee warehouse efficiency to maintain optimal supply chain operations.

Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.
