Job Title: Patent Agent (Electrical/Electronic Domain)Location: New DelhiJob Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patent Agent specializing in the electrical/electronic domain. The ideal candidate should be a registered Patent Agent with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and hearings specifically within the electrical/electronic field. The primary responsibilities of the Patent Agent will include:1. Patent Drafting: Prepare and review high-quality patent applications in the electrical/electronic domain, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to obtain necessary information and documentation.2. Patent Prosecution: Manage patent prosecution matters, including drafting responses to office actions, conducting legal research, and developing arguments to overcome rejections. Interface with clients and patent examiners to navigate the patent prosecution process effectively.3. Patent Hearings: Represent clients in patent-related hearings before patent offices and tribunals. Prepare hearing briefs, analyze technical evidence, and present legal arguments to protect clients' patent rights within the electrical/electronic domain.4. Patent Portfolio Management: Assist in the management and strategic development of clients' patent portfolios in the electrical/electronic field. Conduct patent searches and analysis to assess patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement risks. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients regarding their patent strategies.

1- Conducting patent search projects to the expected qualities and on a timely manner;2- Using technical background and experiences to understand invention or patent disclosures;3- Conduct patent and non-patent literature searches for generating technology landscapes, patentability, prior-art, freedom to operate, validity/invalidity and infringement reports; Analyzing patent and non-patent literature for the above purposes;4- Analyzing patent claims and description for claims mapping, portfolio analysis, patent categorization, etc.;5- Preparing robust search strategies to search and identify relevant patent and scientific literature in a given technology domain;6- Prepare research reports to be shared with scientists / attorneys / technical personnel of the client organization.
