You must be able to read technical blueprints, ensure high-quality workmanship, and strictly adhere to safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and sketches to plan welding operations accurately.Welding Operations: Perform welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick/Arc) on various materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) according to specifications.Fabrication & Cutting: Operate heavy machinery, grinders, and torches to cut and shape metal components to precise dimensions.Quality Control: Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws or defects; ensure all work meets strength and aesthetic standards.Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools; report any damages or malfunctions immediately.Safety Compliance: Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all company health and safety guidelines.Requirements & Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a technical institute (e.g., ITI in Welding) is highly preferred.Experience: Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Arc welding (specify which is most important for you). Ability to read technical documents and drawings.Tools: Experience using electrical and manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy lifting, stand for long periods, and work in various positions.
