The ideal candidate will have an I.T.I. qualification and a strong background in fitting and maintenance tasks.As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical systems and components. Your key responsibilities include:- **Assembly and Installation:** You will assemble machinery and equipment according to specifications, ensuring all parts are fitted correctly and operate effectively.- **Maintenance and Repairs:** Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.- **Troubleshooting:** Identify malfunctions or issues in mechanical systems, diagnose problems accurately, and implement effective solutions promptly.- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used, hours spent, and any issues encountered.- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong technical skills related to fitting and machinery.
