job description ● set up and operate cnc laser cutting machines for sheet metal cutting as per job specifications.

● read and interpret engineering drawings, cad files, and production schedules.

● monitor machine operations, adjust parameters, and ensure precision cutting within tolerance levels.

● perform routine checks on machine calibration, lens/nozzle cleaning, and alignment.

● optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.

● conduct quality inspections of finished components using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).

● maintain production records, job sheets, and machine logs accurately.

● identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating technical problems when necessary.

● ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance schedules.

● collaborate with the production team to meet daily and monthly targets.

education: iti / diploma in mechanical, production, or related discipline.

relevant experience: • 1-2 years of experience operating cnc laser cutting machines (trumpf, amada, bystronic, or equivalent).

• knowledge of cnc programming, nesting software, and sheet metal processing.

• ability to interpret engineering drawings and quality standards.

• strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
