CNC Machine Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION ● Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for sheet metal cutting as per job specifications.

● Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and production schedules.

● Monitor machine operations, adjust parameters, and ensure precision cutting within tolerance levels.

● Perform routine checks on machine calibration, lens/nozzle cleaning, and alignment.

● Optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.

● Conduct quality inspections of finished components using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).

● Maintain production records, job sheets, and machine logs accurately.

● Identify and troubleshoot basic machine issues, escalating technical problems when necessary.

● Ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance schedules.

● Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and monthly targets.

Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related discipline.

Relevant Experience: • 1-2 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, or equivalent).

• Knowledge of CNC programming, nesting software, and sheet metal processing.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and quality standards.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
