Job Summary

We are looking for skilled Plumbing Draftsmen/Drafters to join our MEP design team. The candidates will be responsible for preparing accurate plumbing drawings, layouts, and documentation for building projects while coordinating with other MEP disciplines and ensuring drawings comply with project requirements and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D plumbing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Develop plumbing layouts for water supply, drainage, soil and waste systems.

Prepare sanitary, storm-water and rainwater drainage layouts.

Prepare pipe routing, shaft layouts, riser diagrams, and schematic drawings.

Develop detailed drawings for plumbing fixtures and equipment.

Prepare plumbing drawings based on architectural and engineering requirements.

Coordinate plumbing layouts with HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, and Architectural drawings.

Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues before finalizing drawings.

Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, clients, and project teams.

Prepare detailed sections, elevations, and enlarged layouts wherever required.

Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and drawing revisions.

Assist engineers in preparing BOQ, quantity take-offs, and material schedules when required.

Ensure drawings are issued within project timelines and maintain proper document control.

Coordinate with the site team and incorporate site requirements or approved changes into drawings.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and plumbing drafting.

Good understanding of building plumbing systems.

Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems.

Ability to read and understand architectural and MEP drawings.

Good knowledge of pipe sizes, fittings, plumbing fixtures, and routing.

Understanding of plumbing shafts, risers, and service coordination.

Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an added advantage.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with the MEP design team.

Candidate ProfilePosition 1 - Junior Plumbing Drafter

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.

Gender-Female

Freshers with strong AutoCAD knowledge may also be considered.

Good knowledge of basic plumbing drafting and AutoCAD.

Should be willing to learn and work closely with senior engineers/drafters.

Position 2 - Senior Plumbing Drafter

Experience: Approximately 10 years of relevant experience.

Gender- Male

Strong experience in building plumbing drafting and MEP coordination.

Should be capable of independently handling plumbing drawings for projects.

Should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Revit MEP.

Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and site teams will be preferred.

Education

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related engineering field is preferred.
