Job Openings for 1 Financial Accountant Job with minimum 1 Year Experience in Alipore, Kolkata, having Educational qualification of : M.B.A/PGDM with Good knowledge in gstr 1 gsr 3b taxation final accounts, Taxation, Income Tax Return, GST Return, Balance Sheet, Financial Statements etc.

Oversee and manage the accounts to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and reporting. Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding debts. Monitor and analyse accounts metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Collaborate with internal departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance client satisfaction.Proficiency in financial software (Tally Prime) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxes, Income Tax and TDS return Filling, GST Return, Personal Accounts handling.

The ideal candidate will assist in daily financial transactions, reporting, and record-keeping, contributing to the accurate and timely management of company financials.Key Responsibilities:General Accounting:Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and general ledger entries.Accounts Payable/Receivable:Process and review invoices, payments, and receipts.Ensure that payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.Follow up with vendors and clients for any outstanding payments.Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all discrepancies are identified and resolved.Tax and Compliance:Assist with VAT/GST returns and other statutory filings as required.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.Financial Reporting:Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.Other Duties:Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and financial projects.
