Key Responsibilities:Technical Service & RepairDiagnose and Troubleshoot: Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on complex electronic systems, devices, and circuit boards to identify malfunctions.Repair and Calibration: Execute on-site and in-house repairs, component replacement, and system adjustments, using specialized diagnostic tools, testing equipment (e.g., DVMs), and technical manuals/schematics.Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and routine inspections to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime for clients.Installation and Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission new electronic equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.Technical Documentation: Interpret and utilize complex engineering diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for diagnostics and repair procedures.Customer Support & TrainingClient Communication: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, effectively communicating complex technical information, repair status, and solutions clearly and professionally.Technical Guidance: Provide training, technical assistance, and guidance to end-users on the proper operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting of their electronic equipment.Issue Resolution: Manage customer expectations and ensure timely resolution of all service issues to achieve high customer satisfaction.Operations & ComplianceReporting: Accurately and promptly document all service activities, repairs performed, performance tests, and customer interactions in service management systems and technical reports.Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, and judiciously order replacements through strong technical expertise.Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres strictly to company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations (e.g., ESD, IPC, OSHA, ISO standards).Collaboration: Work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and product development teams to provide feedback, resolve complex issues, and support product enhancements.

Design and Development: Create schematics and layouts for electronic circuits and systems. This involves selecting components, designing PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), and simulating performance to ensure the design meets specifications.Prototyping and Testing: Build prototypes of electronic devices and conduct rigorous tests to verify functionality and reliability. They use lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers to debug circuits and troubleshoot issues.Component Selection: Research and choose appropriate electronic components for a design, considering factors like cost, availability, performance, and power consumption.Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, design reports, test procedures, and bill of materials (BOMs). This documentation is crucial for manufacturing and future revisions.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems with existing electronic systems. They work to identify root causes of failures and implement solutions.Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers (e.g., mechanical, software, and manufacturing) to ensure the electronic design integrates seamlessly with other parts of the product.
