Execute designs of plant equipment for efficient structural design concepts. Read and understand structural codes, construction specifications, drawings and review design plans. Perform structural design and analytical calculation using governing codes and standards, Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience. Provide drawing for designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and other inter disciplinary Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering design documents Ensure all pertinent input data is available for team members to complete the necessary tasks. Create and maintain company and reference standards for structural designs and procedures.
