The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site progress, coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring quality standards, handling measurements and maintaining timely project completion.The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, site management skills and the ability to solve on-site execution issues efficiently.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution

- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality control.Explanation: The civil engineer will be responsible for regularly visiting the construction site to oversee the progress of the project and ensure that work is being done according to specifications and quality standards.- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Explanation: The candidate will need to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the project to ensure that everyone is aligned on the project requirements and timelines.- Prepare and review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Explanation: The civil engineer will be expected to create and review technical drawings and specifications to guide the construction team and ensure that the project is executed accurately.- Monitor and report on project timelines, budgets, and resources.Explanation: The candidate will need to keep track of project milestones, budgets, and available resources to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.Required Skills and Expectations:- Proficiency in site supervision and construction management.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with stakeholders.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.Education:- Advanced/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Site Supervision & Execution:Supervise day-to-day construction activities.Ensure that work is executed as per approved drawings, design, specifications, and safety standards.Coordinate with contractors, labor, and subcontractors.Project Planning & Scheduling:Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.Quality Control & Assurance:Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship.Ensure adherence to quality and safety norms (ISO, IS codes, etc.).Material & Resource Management:Manage and order materials as per project requirements.Ensure the availability of equipment and manpower on-site.Technical Documentation:Maintain site records such as work permits, inspection reports, and material testing results.Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity estimates, and bills.Coordination & Communication:Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients.Attend regular site meetings to resolve technical issues.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):Ensure compliance with safety regulations on site.Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe working practices.
