The ideal candidate should have 2 to 8 years of experience in carpentry, specifically in making and repairing furniture.Key Responsibilities:- Furniture Construction: Build and assemble furniture pieces like tables, chairs, and cabinets, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.- Repairs and Maintenance: Fix broken or damaged furniture, which includes sanding, painting, and refinishing to restore items to their original appearance.- Material Selection: Choose the appropriate types of wood and materials for each project based on quality and cost, ensuring durability and functionality.- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret design plans and blueprints accurately to ensure the final product matches the intended design.- Tool Operation: Safely operate various carpentry tools and machinery, adhering to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and follow instructions to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.Required Skills and Expectations:The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of woodworking techniques and experience in using hand and power tools.
