Automation Tester 8-10 yrs Hybrid Location Gurgaon Shift: Morning(5 AM to 1 PM &6 AM -2PM) contract 3-6 MonthsRole & Responsibilities :Must have: Selenium with Java preferably with BDD Cucumber Agile Sprints experience. Apifunctional testing using Postman and automation testing.Good to have: Mobile functional and automation testing.Accessibility testing. - Involve in creating automation framework using Selenium + Python, Java andTesting.Develop test automation approach applying modern test automation techniquesSchedule automation regression to run on regular interval.Identify and raise defect identified through automation test execution.Troubleshoot issues in automation scripts found during testing.Regular update automation test suite. - Understand test case prioritisation.Assess and raise risk issues in testing.Timely report testing status with different stakeholders

Automation QAJob Responsibilities Take ownership of automated and manual testing to ensure bug-free high quality releases. Review and analyze feature requirements. Collaborate with the Dev team to develop effective Test plan and strategies. Write and execute Test Cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. Report bugs and follow-up fixes and deployment timelines. Plan and run regression tests. Run performance tests and share results for optimization. Raise the bar by reviewing code, share knowledge, tips & tricks, and help out within and acrossteams.Must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree, or equivalent work experience. Strong command over 1 or more programming languages (JavaScript, Java). 2+ years of experience with Cucumber/Selenium/Appium or similar test framework. Hands-on experience developing automated scripts for web and mobile applications and exposure to continuous integration. Hands-on experience in web services testing. Knowledge of software development process and QA methodologies, familiar with development tools such as Confluence, Jira. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Collaborative attitude, ability to take ownership.

QA Automation Engineer has to perform these various roles :write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system;determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios;write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;build test automation frameworks;log and document bugs in the tracking system; andset up Continuous Integration.

Job Role Requirements: Experienced in preparing QA Metrics as Defect Leakage, Defect Validation, Defect Removal Efficiency,Defect Severity analysis, Test Status Metrics (Test Cases Passed/Failed/Blocked), Defect Age analysis. Experience in Non-Functional, Functional, Re Testing, Regression and System TestingPreparing Daily status reports, Weekly status reports and monthly status reports. Strong in OOPS concepts Knowledge on segregation of test cases. Framework Maintenance. Should have working experience of Ranorex and JIRA. (Selenium and Katalon would be an advantage). QA Reviews, Peer Reviews, Technical Reviews and incorporate BA Comments. Insert the Data into Request XML and request submission, Validate the response using the Assertions. Automation scripts in Eclipse, worked on Selenium IDE, RC, Web driver and Grid. Experience in the data driven framework, Keyword Driven and Hybrid Frameworks. Performance testing project activities including requirements gathering, planning, designing scripts andcreating test data and executing load tests.Shift Time: 12:00 pm to 21:00 pm IST (Please note, this is a business-critical role, and you maybe required to support operations out of hours in case of breakdowns or issues.)Days of working: 5 DaysHolidays: Only UK Bank Holidays
