You will bridge business objectives with technologicalcapabilities, closely collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and refine requirements,enhance processes, and deliver solutions that significantly improve underwriting efficiency andaccuracy.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries, and product managers,to gather, analyze, and clearly document business requirements, ensuring alignmentwith underwriting automation and risk assessment objectives. Conduct detailed stakeholder interviews and workshops to deeply understand businessprocesses, challenges, and opportunities within self-insured and group health insuranceunderwriting. Analyze underwriting data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for automation,improved risk management, and operational efficiency. Develop precise business process flows, use cases, and detailed user storiesspecifically designed to support automation of underwriting tasks, proposal generation,and quoting workflows. Work closely with technical teams, including developers, designers, and QAprofessionals, ensuring accurate and efficient translation of business needs intotechnological solutions. Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical teams, facilitatingseamless communication and timely feedback throughout all project phases. Conduct comprehensive impact assessments and risk analyses for proposedunderwriting automation solutions, ensuring business readiness and informeddecision-making. Monitor and report on project progress and key underwriting efficiency metrics,identifying potential risks and proactively proposing actionable solutions. Stay abreast of insurance industry trends, emerging underwriting technologies, andregulatory requirements to continuously drive innovation and compliance withinDataHub.insure products.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Insurance, orrelated fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within InsureTech,underwriting automation, or insurance software domains. Deep knowledge of insurance underwriting processes, particularly in self-insured,stop-loss, and level-funded insurance environments. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex insurance dataand workflows to inform strategic decisions. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at effectivelyengaging with underwriting stakeholders and technical teams. Proven experience utilizing business analysis tools and methodologies, includingprocess modeling, data analysis, and requirements elicitation. Experience working within Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, withfamiliarity in project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or domain-specific underwriting credentials arehighly desirable.
