VoIP Engineer (Asterisk & SIP) (2-5 Years)

We are looking for a VoIP Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time role that allows you to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Configure VoIP Systems: You will create and set up VoIP communication systems to improve communication processes within the organization.

- Troubleshoot VoIP Issues: You will diagnose and resolve issues with VoIP technology, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently.

- Monitor VoIP Performance: You will regularly check the performance of VoIP systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing functionality.

- Collaborate with Teams: You will work closely with IT and network teams to ensure integration of VoIP with existing systems and to resolve technical problems.

- Documentation and Reporting: You will maintain clear documentation of VoIP configurations and performance metrics, as well as provide reports on system health and incidents.

Required Skills and Expectations:

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP and RTP and experience with PBX systems. A good understanding of networking concepts is essential, along with troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software. Familiarity with firewall settings and Quality of Service (QoS) is a plus. You should possess excellent communication skills to effectively work with different teams and provide timely updates. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset is crucial for success in this role.
