Job Summary:

The Manager Government Tendering for Construction Work with Central Government is responsible for managing the entire process of government tendering for construction work. This role involves developing and implementing a strategic plan for winning government contracts, overseeing the preparation and submission of bids, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic plan for winning government contracts for construction work.

Research and identify government tenders for construction work that align with the company's capabilities and interests.

Manage the preparation and submission of bids, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure all requirements are met.

Maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders, including attending meetings and presenting proposals.

Monitor and evaluate the company's performance on government contracts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to government tendering for construction work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in government tendering for construction work, preferably with central government.

Strong understanding of procurement regulations and policies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with government officials and stakeholders.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
