Technical Engineer

key responsibilities:

- review and approve technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.

- conduct periodic design audits to validate compliance with applicable standards (nfpa, local civil defense codes, etc.).

- provide technical solutions and troubleshooting support during the design and construction phases.

- implement and enforce quality control measures and documentation procedures across the design lifecycle.

- oversee the preparation of design submittals, shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and boms.

- ensure project documentation is complete, updated, and stored in accordance with company procedures.

- conduct regular performance reviews for team members based on kpis such as accuracy, output, and adherence to timelines.

- identify training and development needs and provide technical coaching or recommend external training.

- foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

educational background

- bachelor-s degree in mechanical/ electrical engineering, fire protection engineering, or related field.

- minimum 5- 8 years of experience in firefighting system design.

- experience with design software such as autocad, revit, and hydraulic calculation tools (., elite fire, hass).
