Key Responsibilities: Review and approve technical designs and drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability. Conduct periodic design audits to validate compliance with applicable standards (NFPA, local civil defense codes, etc.). Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting support during the design and construction phases. Implement and enforce quality control measures and documentation procedures across the design lifecycle. Oversee the preparation of design submittals, shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and BOMs. Ensure project documentation is complete, updated, and stored in accordance with company procedures. Conduct regular performance reviews for team members based on KPIs such as accuracy, output, and adherence to timelines. Identify training and development needs and provide technical coaching or recommend external training. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Main Competencies & Skills:Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of firefighting systems, NFPA codes, and relevant local regulations. Professional certification (e.g., NFPA Certified, PMP, or equivalent) is a plus.Experience Minimum 5- 8 years of experience in firefighting system design. Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation tools (e.g., Elite Fire, HASS).
