Substation Engineer (3-9 Years)

We are seeking a skilled Substation Engineer with 3 to 9 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical substations.

Must Have Certification / Training in Substation Design and Estimation

Key responsibilities include:

1. Design and Planning: Create and review electrical design plans for new substations and upgrades to existing facilities. Ensure all designs meet safety and operational standards.

2. Project Management: Oversee the implementation of substation projects, coordinating with contractors and ensuring that timelines and budgets are met. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving project goals.

3. Maintenance and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of substation equipment. Troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain reliable operations.

4. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical standards. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for audits and regulatory checks.

5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and technicians to facilitate smooth operation and problem-solving in cross-functional teams. Your collaborative approach will enhance project efficiency.
