Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Goa. The ideal candidate will support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and help maintain high culinary standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Assist the Executive Chef:** Support the head chef in meal preparation, menu planning, and managing kitchen operations for smooth service.

- **Supervise Kitchen Staff:** Lead and train kitchen team members, ensuring they follow recipes and maintain quality standards to deliver exceptional dishes.

- **Food Preparation:** Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to recipes, ensuring consistency and high quality in every dish served.

- **Inventory Management:** Monitor kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed on time.

- **Maintain Cleanliness:** Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and comply with health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

Candidates should have a diploma in culinary arts or related fields, along with at least three years of experience in a similar role. Strong culinary skills and creativity in preparing diverse dishes are essential. The ideal Sous Chef will have excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and communicate well with other kitchen staff. Attention to detail and a passion for cooking is crucial, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work long hours and weekends is expected.
