Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 Identify and select vendors or suppliers for various products and services.

 Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and products.

 Solicit quotations and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.

 Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers based on departmental requirements.

 Ensure that the purchase orders are accurate, clear, and processed promptly with proper approval from superior/manager.

 Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery of materials.

 Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

 Evaluate supplier performance regularly, ensuring timely deliveries and quality standards.

 Resolve any supplier-related issues or concerns promptly.

 Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
