Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and motivate our sales team to achieve and exceed all revenue goals. The manager will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, optimizing sales processes, and fostering a high-performance, customer-centric sales culture.
Roles & Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Target Setting: Establish challenging yet realistic sales goals, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire team and individual representatives.
Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong presence in target markets.
Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and sales activity reports for senior management on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Team Leadership & Management
Recruitment & Training: Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new sales representatives.
Coaching & Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to the sales team to improve individual and collective sales performance.
Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews, track daily/weekly progress against goals, and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure quotas are met.
Motivation: Foster a positive, competitive, and highly motivated team environment, often utilizing incentive programs, recognition, and rewards.
3. Sales Operations & Relationship Management
Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and final deal closure.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, often personally managing the company's most important or key accounts.
Inter-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing team on lead generation and campaign alignment, and with the Product/Service teams to relay customer feedback for improvement
