we are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to drive growth in the b2b food ingredients segment. the ideal candidate will handle top and mid-tier accounts across categories such as bakery, protein, snacks, premix, beverages, rtd/rte, qsr, and online food businesses. the role focuses on expanding customer relationships, offering innovative ingredient solutions, and contributing to overall revenue growth.

key responsibilities:
account & sales management
manage and grow sales within the assigned region by understanding customer needs, challenges, and business objectives.
build and maintain strong b2b customer relationships across multiple food categories.
take complete ownership of sales performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue achievement.
business development
identify new business opportunities and drive concept selling for ingredient-based solutions.
build and maintain a strong project pipeline through ongoing customer engagement and new product introductions.
develop potential customers through proactive outreach, technical discussions, and value-based selling.
market insight & strategy
stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
analyze competitors’ strengths and weaknesses to position the company’s value proposition effectively.
align with marketing and sales strategies, including segmentation, pricing, and product positioning.
planning & execution
translate the sales budget into clear, actionable sales plans.
collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, r&d, technical, operations) to deliver effective customer solutions.
ensure timely communication and coordination between customers and internal teams for smooth and efficient execution.
requirements
strong experience in b2b sales within the food ingredients / food technology sector.
excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
ability to understand technical product details and convert them into customer-focused solutions.
