responsible for managing and organizing daily restaurant operations with a goal of
controlling costs and providing a high quality experience to customers. areas of operation
range from personnel management to cook and waiting staff coordination to inventory
management.
job responsibilities
• personnel – recruitment, training, deployment, growth of all the work force in the
restaurant
• equipments – purchase, operation, preventive maintenance, repair of all the
equipments used in restaurant
• kitchen – define process, coordinate operations, ensure quality, hygiene, minimise
wastage, control costs and generate desired output from kitchen
• customers – provide customers with right food item ordered in time in a clean dining
environment and ensure a smooth customer experience
• cleaning – ensure floor, tables, kitchen, vessels, plates, toilets, wash basins, sewage,
food waste, garbage are cleaned at regular intervals to maintain the desired hygiene
and cleanliness
• purchase – vendor development, purchase, inventory and usage of all vegetables,
fruits, groceries, packing materials, crockeries consumables
• finance – maximise revenues while controlling expenses and costs while also
increasing customer satisfaction and brand value
qualification
• degree/diploma in hotel and hospitality management
• 10 years+ experience in restaurant industry
• native of puttur, dakshina kannada
• good written and oral communication skills in english and kannada
• experience and skills in managing people to get work done from them
• comfortable with numbers and oral calculations
• working knowledge of computers, erp software, excel and smart phone applications
