key responsibilities:
1. quality strategy & leadership
define and lead the overall quality vision and roadmap.
establish quality benchmarks, kpis, and objectives aligned with business goals.
lead and mentor the qa, qc, and quality systems teams.
promote a strong quality culture across departments.
2. quality assurance & control
ensure robust quality control throughout the manufacturing process: incoming, in-process,
and final inspection.
oversee testing procedures for capacitors (., capacitance, esr, leakage current, voltage
proofing).
ensure proper calibration of instruments and test equipment.
3. process & product quality
implement statistical process control (spc), six sigma, and root cause analysis tools (like 5
whys, fishbone diagrams).
evaluate process capability and drive process improvement.
lead failure analysis (internal and customer returns) and corrective/preventive actions
(capa).
4. supplier quality management
qualify, audit, and evaluate suppliers of raw materials
ensure incoming material quality meets specifications.
work with procurement and r&d to improve supplier performance.
5. compliance & certifications
ensure compliance with applicable standards
maintain documentation and support audits (internal, customer, regulatory).
handle certifications for products, like ce, rohs, reach, . customer quality
liaise with customers on quality issues and audits.
analyze customer complaints and implement robust countermeasures.
ensure ppap, fmea, and apqp documentation for customer-specific requirements.
7. continuous improvement
lead or participate in kaizen, lean manufacturing, and cost-saving projects.
drive zero-defect initiatives and employee quality awareness programs.
required qualifications:
education:
. / in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering (masters preferred).
experience:
10+ years in quality roles, with at least 35 years in a leadership capacity.
prior experience in capacitor, passive components, or electronic manufacturing environment
is mandatory.
skills:
deep knowledge of capacitor manufacturing processes (wet and dry electrolytic, film
winding, sintering, etc.).
proficient in quality tools and techniques (8d, dmaic, msa, doe, etc.).
strong knowledge of international standards and audit procedures.
analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
