A Quality Control (QC) Engineer ensures products or projects meet established quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. They develop inspection protocols, test materials and finished goods, conduct root cause analysis for defects, and implement corrective actions (CAPA) to improve production efficiency and compliance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Inspection & Testing: Conducting routine audits, material testing (., steel, concrete), and inspecting in-process or final products, often using NDT techniques.

Documentation & Compliance: Developing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), maintaining quality documentation (checklists, manuals), and ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 9001.

Problem Solving & CAPA: Identifying defects, conducting root cause analysis using 5 Whys/Fishbone diagrams, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.

Coordination: Working with production, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues, managing non-conformance reports (NCR), and verifying as-built drawings.

Tool Usage: Utilizing measurement and testing instruments, calibration tools, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to analyze data.
