Quality Control Engineer

position: qc engineer – mechanical / quality inspection

location: 702/ b2 gidc ind estate, makarpura, vadodara-

experience required: 2–4 years

industry: engineering, manufacturing, cnc, fabrication, heavy engineering

job responsibilities:

perform inspection of engineering components as per drawings and specifications.

carry out ndt testing as level ii certified engineer ( lpt only).

interpret ndt results and prepare reports.

use measuring instruments such as:

vernier caliper

micrometer (od , id , depth)

height gauge

bore gauge

dial indicator

thread gauge & surface plate

read and understand engineering drawings and gd&t symbols.

handle in-process, final, and incoming inspections.

prepare inspection reports (ir), ncr, and quality documentation.

coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues.

maintain calibration records of instruments.

ensure compliance with iso / customer quality standards.

candidate requirements:

diploma / be / in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

ndt level ii certification (asnt / pcn / isnt) mandatory.

strong knowledge of inspection instruments and ndt procedures.

experience in machining, fabrication, casting, or manufacturing industries.

knowledge of iso 9001, process control & documentation.

good reporting and communication skills.
