Job Description

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This role involves supporting our purchasing and inventory management processes in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will possess a degree and have 0 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities include sourcing materials and supplies required for production efficiently and maintaining accurate purchase records. The Purchase Engineer will also communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery. Regular inventory checks will be necessary to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Additionally, the role may involve some administrative duties related to purchase orders and invoicing.

To excel in this role, candidates should have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of purchasing and supply chain principles. Proficiency in computer software for inventory management and data analysis is expected. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and achieving effective negotiations with suppliers. Familiarity with manufacturing processes will provide an advantage.

The position requires working from the office in Chennai, with a standard work schedule comprising regular business hours. Immediate joiners are preferred, and candidates must be male per the job specifications.
