key responsibilities

teaching & learning

plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.

use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

integrate literacy, numeracy, science, and creative subjects into age-appropriate activities.

assess student progress through assignments, tests, observations, and informal evaluations.

provide timely feedback to students and help them develop self-confidence and independence.

classroom management

create a positive and well-organized classroom environment.

establish clear rules, routines, and expectations to maintain good behaviour.

manage social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively.

ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.

student support

identify learning needs or challenges and differentiate instruction accordingly.

support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural development.

work with special education staff, counsellors, or support teams when necessary.

collaboration & communication

communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and behavior.

collaborate with other teachers, assistants, and school staff on curriculum planning and school activities.

participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
