Job Title: Document Verification Executive

Job Summary

The Document Verification Executive is responsible for verifying customer documents to ensure authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with NBFC policies and regulatory requirements before loan processing and disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Verify KYC documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, and Driving License

Scrutinize income documents including salary slips, bank statements, ITRs, and Form 16

Validate business documents for self-employed customers (GST, Trade License, Bank Statements)

Check completeness and accuracy of loan application forms

Perform document validation through internal systems and external verification tools

Coordinate with sales and credit teams to resolve discrepancies

Maintain proper documentation records (physical and digital)

Ensure compliance with RBI, KYC, AML, and company policies

Flag suspicious or fraudulent documents and escalate to the concerned authority

Support audit and compliance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate / Undergraduate (as per company policy)

03 years of experience in document verification or NBFC operations preferred

Knowledge of KYC, AML, and credit documentation standards

Attention to detail and accuracy

Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM, document management systems)

Good communication and coordination skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of document verification

Turnaround time (TAT) for file processing

Compliance adherence rate

Number of discrepancies / reworks

Audit observations

Preferred Attributes

Analytical and process-oriented mindset

High level of integrity and confidentiality

Ability to work under deadlines
