work experience:
minimum 3 years experience in event industry
job responsibility’s:
• coordinating with event designers to ensure that the venue layout is appropriate for the type of event being held
• coordinating with security personnel to ensure that adequate security measures are in place during the event
• managing budgets and expenses for each event to ensure profitability
• ensuring that all staff members are properly trained to carry out their event specific tasks
• managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deadlines are met
• providing customer service support to attendees by answering questions about policies or procedures
• overseeing event setup and breakdown to ensure that the event proceeds smoothly and efficiently
• ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
• formulate strategic and operational objectives
• manage budgets and forecasts
• perform quality controls and monitor production
• find ways to increase quality of customer service
