NPD Engineer - Full Time

As an NPD Engineer in Thirumudivakkam, Chennai, you will focus on developing new products by transforming customer requirements into technical specifications and designs. Your role will primarily involve designing and developing prototypes, validating products through testing, and ensuring comprehensive documentation and process control.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Customer Requirements & Technical Review: You will gather and analyze customer needs, converting them into actionable technical specifications suitable for product development.

- Product Design & Development: You will create innovative product designs that align with customer requirements while ensuring functionality and manufacturability.

- Prototype & Sample Development: You will be responsible for building prototypes, testing them, and iterating on designs based on findings to ensure product viability.

- Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing of products to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

- Documentation & Process Control: Maintain detailed records of design processes, testing results, and any changes made during development for quality assurance.

- Costing & Continuous Improvement: Analyze production costs and identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree, 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, and a strong understanding of product design principles. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
