Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for OTC products.
Increase numeric and weighted distribution across pharmacies, retail outlets, and modern trade.
Drive secondary and primary sales by ensuring consistent product availability.
Execute product launches and promotional campaigns effectively.
2. Retailer & Pharmacist Engagement
Visit pharmacies, general retail stores, and distributors regularly as per the call plan.
Provide product information, usage guidelines, and offer support to retailers.
Drive shelf-placement, product visibility, and OTC product recommendation at point of sale.
3. Market Coverage & Execution
Ensure proper route planning and effective territory coverage.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and report insights.
Ensure timely order booking, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
4. Merchandising & Visibility
Implement in-store branding, POS materials, product displays, and planograms.
Coordinate with marketing teams to roll out schemes and promotional activities.
Track visibility performance and ensure correct execution at outlets.
5. Distributor Management
Work closely with distributors to ensure inventory levels, timely billing, and deliveries.
Support distributor salesmen and help in market penetration.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily call reports, sales reports, and competitor insights.
Use CRM or reporting platforms for real-time updates.
Participate in monthly reviews and performance meetings.
