key responsibilities:

�� assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the tmt rolling mill.

�� monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely corrective actions.

�� conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

�� support production teams in achieving targeted output and quality standards.

�� prepare and maintain documentation for maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and spares consumption.

�� coordinate with the electrical and production teams for smooth plant operations.

�� ensure compliance with safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

�� work on continuous improvement projects for productivity, cost reduction, and energy savings.

required skills & competencies:

�� strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant machinery.

�� troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

�� teamwork and communication abilities.

�� willingness to work in shifts and handle shop-floor challenges.

qualifications:

�� freshers: ./ or diploma in mechanical engineering (2024/2025 pass-outs preferred).

�� experienced candidates: 1 - 5 years in steel/tmt plant operations; hands-on experience in ccm and furnace will be an added advantage.

key advantages (preferred experience):

�� exposure to continuous casting machine (ccm) operations & maintenance.

�� knowledge of furnace (reheating / induction / arc) maintenance.

�� experience in heavy engineering, steel plant, or rolling mill industry.

�� candidates from urban areas within 20 km radius of sinnar are strongly preferred.
