Job Description

Responsibilities:

Conceptual Design and Development: Generate innovative mechanical design concepts and solutions based on product requirements, specifications, and market needs, considering factors like functionality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability in the local context.

Detailed Design and Drafting: Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Inventor), ensuring accuracy, adherence to drafting standards (including GD&T), and consideration for local manufacturing processes.

Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (., FEA, thermal analysis, kinematic analysis) to evaluate the structural integrity, performance, and reliability of mechanical designs.

Material Selection: Select appropriate materials based on design requirements, performance criteria, cost considerations, and local availability of materials and processing capabilities.

Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA): Optimize designs for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes, taking into account local production capabilities and workforce skills.

Prototyping and Testing Support: Collaborate with prototyping teams and provide design inputs for the development of prototypes. Participate in testing and validation activities, analyze test results, and recommend design modifications based on findings.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Create and maintain accurate and detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for designed products and assemblies.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with manufacturing, production, quality, and other engineering teams in Nashik to ensure design feasibility, address manufacturing challenges, and facilitate smooth product development and launch.

Engineering Change Management: Participate in the review, analysis, and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs) related to mechanic
