ABOUT THE ROLE
Belgium is home to several of Europe's largest meat processing and food manufacturing facilities. We are recruiting Food Factory Workers for a well-established processing plant in Flanders. The role involves working in a modern, temperature-controlled environment with strict hygiene and quality standards. This is a high-demand, well-compensated role for candidates with prior food industry experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cutting, trimming, deboning and portioning meat products to client specifications
• Operating food processing and slicing machinery following training
• Monitoring product quality and removing any non-conforming items from the line
• Packing finished meat products into trays, boxes and vacuum-seal bags
• Following HACCP food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Cleaning and sanitising workstation, machinery and cold room areas between batches
• Handling cold storage and chilled/frozen goods safely
• Completing production records and reporting wastage or breakdowns to supervisors
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food processing, meat cutting or factory work
• Ability to work in cold environments (2°C to 10°C) for full shifts
• Basic English communication; Dutch or French not mandatory
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP practices preferred
• Physically fit with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Reliable, disciplined and able to maintain focus on a fast-moving production line
• Age between 22 and 45 years
• Valid passport and clean food industry medical certificate
