Job Description

Phasor Engineering is looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Engineer – Substation Protection & Control with strong expertise in HV/EHV substation and transmission line projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering, and implementation of protection & control systems for substation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of Protection & Control systems for HV/EHV substations

• Preparation of protection schemes, control schematics, logic diagrams, and wiring diagrams

• Development of protection settings and coordination studies for transmission lines and substations

• Preparation and review of SLD, interlocking schemes, panel layouts, and cable schedules

• Selection and specification of numerical relays, protection panels, and SCADA interfaces

• Coordination with design, commissioning, and project teams for smooth project execution

• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, and utility standards

• Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protection systems

Key Skills Required

• Substation Protection & Control Design

• Distance Protection, Differential Protection, Busbar Protection

• Relay Setting & Protection Coordination

• SCADA / RTU Integration

• Experience in HV/EHV substations and transmission line protection

• Knowledge of AutoCAD / engineering documentation

Education
