L1 Network Security Engineer at Mahape Navi Mumbai

We are looking for a skilled L1 Network Security Engineer to join our team in Mahape. This role requires a strong focus on protecting our network and ensuring the integrity of our information system.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Monitor Network Traffic:** Regularly check network activity to identify any unauthorized access or anomalies that may signal security threats.

- **Security Incident Response:** Respond to security incidents promptly, analyzing and resolving issues to minimize damage and prevent future occurrences.

- **Firewall Management:** Configure and manage firewalls to ensure they protect the network while allowing legitimate traffic through without disruption.

- **Vulnerability Assessment:** Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems and networks to patch or secure potential risks.

- **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain clear documentation of security incidents, policies, and procedures, and create reports to inform management of security status.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

Candidates should have 3 to 9 years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in network security. A strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, is essential. Certified professionals (., CCNA, CEH) are preferred.

The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively report incidents and collaborate with team members. A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and methods in cyber defense is expected. This is a full-time position, and the work location is office-based.
